Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions every (good) contractor asks before hiring a marketing agency.

All Questions

We build qualification into the system. The ad, the landing page, and the follow-up all do filtering. We ask the right questions up front (budget range, timeline, location, project type). We track calls and forms so we can see what turns into real appointments. Then we tune targeting and messaging to attract the right homeowner and repel the wrong one.

Day one starts when your ads go live, not when we start working. Before launch, we audit your past data, set up tracking and ad accounts, and build the creative so campaigns are ready to perform. Once live, you should see leads quickly, often within the first week. From there, we adjust targeting, creative, and qualification to improve or maintain lead quality. The 90-day agreement is not because results take 90 days to show up, but because it gives enough time to refine, stabilize, and lock in what works if things are not perfect on day one.

You do. The ad accounts are created in your business name and tied to your email. All data, pixels, audiences, and history belong to you. If we ever part ways, you keep everything. We do not hold accounts hostage or lock anything behind our logins (you'd be surprised how many agencies do).

We start by auditing what you already have. If something is working, we keep it. If it is causing bad leads or wasted spend, we fix or replace it. Most of the time, the problem is not "running ads." It is messaging, targeting, qualification, or follow-up. We focus on improving results, not rebuilding things just to rebuild them.

No. We run a geographic non-compete. If we work with you in your service area, we do not work with another pool builder or outdoor living contractor targeting the same market. That keeps incentives aligned and protects your territory.

Most builders do best with a mix of Google and Meta. Google captures homeowners who are actively searching. Meta stays in front of people during the long decision process and helps control lead quality through messaging and qualification. The exact mix depends on your market, competition, and average job size.

Three months. Day one starts when ads go live, not when we start working. You should see leads quickly once campaigns launch, often within the first week. The three-month window gives us time to adjust, refine, and lock in what works if things are not perfect on day one. It is long enough to be fair and short enough that you are not stuck. After that, it goes on a month by month basis.

First, we grew up in the pool industry. We know the difference between a real pool buyer and someone just clicking around for prices. That shows up in how we write ads, how we qualify leads, and what we consider a "good" result. Second, lead quality is reviewed with you regularly. We are not set-it-and-forget-it. We look at calls, forms, and booked appointments together. If quality starts slipping, it gets addressed immediately, not ignored. Third, you are not trapped. We work on short agreements and stay month to month because our clients stay by choice. Several builders have worked with us for years under that structure, not because they had to, but because the system kept producing. And finally, we are fully transparent. You can see what is running, where leads come from, and how they perform. There is nothing hidden behind dashboards or excuses. If something is not working, you will know it, and you will not be stuck.

Our ideal clients are pool builders and outdoor living contractors doing at least 25 projects per year who are looking to scale. Most are either working with a marketing agency they are not happy with or are ready to bring on a long-term marketing partner for the first time. We work best with companies that see marketing as a partnership, not a short-term experiment. We value transparency and honesty on both sides. That means open communication, regular review of results, and a willingness to address what is working and what is not. The best relationships we have are with clients we have worked with month to month for years because the partnership makes sense for both sides. Our ideal client is also growth-minded and tech-forward. You do not need to be an expert, but you do need to care about tracking, reporting, and understanding your numbers. We help guide that process, but the willingness to engage matters. If you are serious about growth, open to collaboration, and looking for a marketing partner you can build with long term, you are likely a good fit.
